School The Westside Music Foundation has raised and secured over $20,000 in funds and donations to establish an instrumental music program at Saint Anne School, a Kindergarten-8th Grade, Title I school in Santa Monica with 70% of its students qualifying for the Federal Free Lunch Program (family income at or below 130% of the federal poverty level). Saint Anne School now has an ensemble of a dozen new Orff-Schulwerk instruments (xylophones, glockenspiels, and metallophones), 180 recorders; 28 band instruments (12 flutes, 10 clarinets, 6 alto saxophones), 16 violins, and 55 acoustic guitars. The Crossroads School has generously donated a large collection of new Orff-Schulwerk hand percussion instruments, including hand drums, timpani, triangles, bells, maracas, shakers, and scrapers. The Sol-La Music Academy is providing the use of the violins. The Music Students' Service League (MSSL) of the Music Teachers' Association of California-West Los Angeles Branch (MTAC-WLA) continues to support the Westside Music Foundation's efforts at St. Anne School. To date, MTAC-WLA MSSL has contributed over $2,500 in funds raised at public recitals. THE COMMUNITY EFFORT IN BRINGING AN INSTRUMENTAL
